Welcome to the Lost Colonies!
Here you will find a minecraft server focused on one thing: bringing the world of struggle and competition that is Raathi to life, block by block, and having a lot of fun doing it! Besides the basic digging and building of minecraft, we choose to focus primarily on three aspects of gameplay that we feel make Lost Colonies something special: Roleplay, Survival and Strategy.
- Roleplay is what we're all about! Here you take on the persona of a character in the fantasy setting of Raathi, and are asked to play "in-character." We're also all about the RPG aspects that make any such games fun -- that means characters with classes, skills and abilities to level up, and more. The higher you advance, the greater power you have over the world around you!
- Survival is just that, surviving in a world set on hard, where the dead rise at night and will do their best to consume you. Monsters aside, you are far from alone in the world and will need to make friends to prosper... but choose wisely who to trust, and who not to.
- Strategy is the basic art of our Statecraft system, an overarching set of rules that manage player property, factions, cities, wars and myriad other aspects of life in the Lost Colonies. Leveling up isn't just for your character, but also for your buildings, cities and faction! Will you raise an empire of wealth in agriculture and trade, or will your cities raise conquering armies instead? And beyond the concerns of your character... whats your score?
